Access-A-Ride User Dionne Boston says it's excessive to spend two hours on the service

The Access-A-Ride Reform Group (AARRG!) is made up of four advocacy organizations — NYLPI, as well as the Brooklyn Center for the Independence of the Disabled (BCID), the Center for the Independence of the Disabled, New York (CIDNY), and Mobilization for Justice (MFJ). From long waits to longer rides, Access-A-Ride is in need of a complete overhaul to improve service for persons with disabilities and elderly customers. AARRG! is in the community ascertaining the specific problems with AAR, offering assistance to individuals experiencing problems with AAR, building a network of AAR advocates, and meeting with AAR personnel to implement needed changes.
