Brooklyn apartment

As The New York Daily News reported, a federal judge issued an emergency order to stop the eviction of a NYLPI client who has a mental disability, citing fair housing laws.  The court issued an order last week barring the landlord from removing the tenant from the apartment pending a decision on NYLPI’s motion for an injunction. A hearing is scheduled for Friday.
