Laura Redman presented on NYLPI’s Access to Medical Care in Immigration Detention program for Fordham Law School’s Immigrant Advocacy Project and Advocates for Sexual Health Rights.  NYLPI’s program takes a multi-prong approach to improving access to medical care in immigration detention, getting people out of detention, seeking systemic solutions, and holding immigrant detention jails and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency accountable.
