As City Limits reports, on June 23, 2016, the New York City Council held an oversight hearing concerning the problems identified in NYLPI’s March 2015 report, “Accessible Justice: Ensuring Equal Access to Courthouses for People with Disabilities.”  NYLPI submitted written testimony to the City Council to support the movement toward making courthouses in NYC accessible to people with disabilities.
